Tuition Riots in England

Remember how every student in England is rioting right now? They are extremely upset about the raising of tuition and how unfairly high tuition rates could become. They find it an outrage that they might have to pay up to £9000 in tuition! £9000!! 
£9000?! That's ridiculously high. I think...
That's $13,861 in American money.
Name one University in America that charges below that. Now name five that charge above $50,000. 
Why aren't Americans rioting?
Because we have the best education?
Oh, we're below average among developed nations?
oops.
